Voormalig Medisch Centrum de Klokkenberg was een rooms-katholiek sanatorium voor tuberculose patiënten ten zuiden van de Nederlandse stad Breda . Geschiedenis Het sanatorium werd tussen 1951 en 1953 gebouwd en ligt aan de Galderseweg, met uitzicht over het Mastbos en het Markdal.

De Klokkenberg was het grootste en modernste tuberculose sanatorium van Nederland. De zorginstelling, bood onderdak en zorg aan honderden tbc-patiënten. De verpleging en verzorging werd vooral gedaan door nonnen. Tbc werd al snel een goed behandelbare ziekte. In 1969 waren er niet veel patiënten meer, en hield het sanatorium in De Klokkenberg.

The nationally listed sanatorium building was designed in a traditionalist style by architects Kees de Bever and Kees van Moorsel in 1951-1953. Construction of the park and garden was Jan Bijhouwer's design. In 2007, De Klokkenberg was nominated for government protection as a reconstruction monument of the welfare state between 1940 and 1958.

De Klokkenberg was the largest and most modern tuberculosis sanatorium in the Netherlands. The care institution provided shelter and care to hundreds of TB patients. The nursing and care was mainly done by nuns. TB quickly became a treatable disease. In 1969 there were not many patients left, and the sanatorium in De Klokkenberg ceased to exist.
