Since 2015 the Maria Lassnig Foundation has dedicated itself to the extensive oeuvre of one of the most important artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. The prime mission of the Foundation, established by the artist in 2001, is to safeguard Lassnig's legacy for the long term, to deepen understanding of her work and make it accessible to the public.
